Louisiana Youth Football season’s culmination will be TWO Postseason Series based on our two playing levels, Division I: FCS (larger/older organizations) & Division II: FBS (smaller/newer organizations). Division I: FCS, which is short for Football Championship Series, has a playoff system designed to determine our league champions for all age groups (Division A: 7-8, Division AA: 9-10, Division AAA: 11-12). The grand finale championship game will be The Finals. Division II: FBS, which is short for Football Bowl Series, has a bowl system designed to determine our Division II playing level champions for all age groups (Cypress Bowl for Division A: 7-8, Pelican Bowl for Division AA: 9-10, Magnolia Bowl for Division AAA: 11-12). These three (3) bowl winners receive an opportunity to play in the Division I: FCS system through showdown (play-in) games versus the lowest seed from Division I.
